If You Believe

Belief seems to be like a Dr. Who quote these days–a wibbly wobbly, timey wimey thing. Whatever works, right? Whatever feels right. But Christians set down a few things they said they believed almost 2000 years ago–and we still recite those words today. Shared belief makes us different in a relativistic society.

Often, though, we no longer know what we share. What do we believe? More importantly, what difference does it make? How is that set of beliefs set down so long ago relevant to me today? A look at how our core beliefs should change us. And maybe a look at what isn’t so core that we need to chill about.
