Listen Up!

There are a few lines in Deuteronomy (the fifth book of the Bible–it’s a long one) that are probably the most important words of all for the Jewish people. They say or sing them twice a day, thousands of years later. How did that happen? What do those few sentences say that makes them so meaningful? Why did Jesus quote them and, of course, add his own take? If Jesus says they’re the most important words, maybe we really should “listen up.”

We’ve talked about listening, loving, and giving it our all. But what does doing that with our whole heart, soul, strength, and mind look like IRL?
