Lead Pastor : Erick Ewaskowitz

Bio : Erick Ewaskowitz serves as the Lead Pastor of Resolution. Erick spent ten years in student ministries before transitioning to church planting, which brought him to Resolution, first as Executive Pastor and now as Lead Pastor. Previously he served as Student Pastor at Wesley Church, in the northern Chicago suburbs. Erick earned a B.S. in Youth Ministries at Greenville College and a Masters in Theological Studies at Garrett Evangelical Theological Seminary. Erick is passionate about helping people find their place in God’s redemptive story. He enjoys reading, coffee, riding his bike, watching and playing sports and hanging out with his wife (Bekki) and boys (Noah and Wil).

Worship and Creative Arts Pastor: Bekki Ewaskowitz

Bio : Bekki came to Resolution in July 2009. She had previously served as Worship and Programming Pastor at Wesley Church in the northern Chicago suburbs. While she originally planned to just sing on the worship team from time to time she quickly took on the worship leader role at Resolution. While Bekki loves music, sings, and plays a few instruments she is passionate about helping people discover what it truly means to worship God and is committed to leading them in their worship. Bekki has a B.S. in Youth Ministries from Greenville College. Aside from planning our Worship Experiences at Resolution you can find Bekki serving you coffee and bagels at the Oswego Panera a few days a week. Bekki enjoys spending time with her 3 boys (including her husband), hanging out with friends, and trying not to get addicted to another TV show.
Director of Children’s Ministries: Colleen Walczak
Bio: Colleen was raised Catholic and as an adult/parent she found herself drifting further and further from the church and God. In April 2009, things changed when she and her family began attending Resolution Church. In June 2010, Colleen voluntarily took over our K-5th Grade Children’s Ministry. In January 2011 Colleen was hired on as Director of Children’s Ministries (Birth – 5th Grade). Colleen has a passion for helping children develop life-long personal relationships with Jesus Christ through lively worship music, exciting bible based lessons and activities that show them how to apply the Bible to their lives. She promises your kids will beg you to bring them back again! Colleen graduated from Roosevelt University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing. She also has a passion for community outreach programs and heads up our Feed Our Starving Children volunteer sessions and our Annual Operation Christmas Child Program.
